Our client, Safeguard Business Systems, a well-established business specializing in business solutions and supplies, is recruiting for a driven Inside Sales Representative (Outbound) to join their team at Tilbury Business Park in Delta. This is a full-time (40-hour work week) permanent position offering flexible work schedule, career advancement opportunities, and base salary plus uncapped commission after successfully completing the 6-month training and evaluation period.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with customers.
  • Initiate sales by calling existing clients to assess inventories and need for replenishing.
  • Market, identify, qualify, and close business deals through both cold and warm leads.
  • Promote sales of new products.
  • Add contacts within existing accounts that could lead to developing new accounts or to further assist customers in other areas of their business (including multiple locations, departments, parent/sister companies, etc.).
  • Prepare quotations, verify product price and availability, receive and process orders, check delivery schedules.
  • Determine the need and arrange for the visit of a sales representative.
  • Direct customers to website or other Safeguard Business Systems' resources for information.

Your Skills to Ensure Your Success:

  • Ability to quickly identify sales opportunities.
  • Ability to quickly develop thorough knowledge of Safeguard Business Systems' products/services.
  • At least two years of inside sales experience in a branch based B2B environment, supporting customers in growing their business.
  • Use internally built Customer Management System, perform data entry, records maintenance, and request tracking and processing.
  • Understand the importance of quality control, information integrity, and completeness and accuracy of data.
  • Preference will be given to those candidates with a knowledge of print and promotional products.
  • Microsoft Office and previous database management system experience.
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Contribute to effective communication with customers and within the office.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematical calculation.
