What you'll get to do:

  • Use your technical experience and passion for helping clients to propose, configure, test, deploy, demonstrate and train clients on Microsoft cloud and hybrid solutions.
  • Work with clients to define, document and validate requirements, manage expectations and deliver high quality solutions on various projects.
  • Become an expert in Microsoft 365 functionality, capabilities and configuration.
  • Support clients in adopting new software capabilities by providing knowledge transfer to client IT team and assisting with post-deployment activities.
  • Play a vital role on the delivery team by working across multiple clients and engagements, understanding and meeting task and deliverable commitments including budget and schedule expectation.
  • Support project and service delivery outcomes by facilitating an understanding of client business needs and challenges.
  • Working to identify meaningful opportunities to improve, automate and create value through digital process and capability enablement.
  • Provide mentorship and grow the next generation of consultants.
  • Please note: this position requires occasional travel.

Who we're looking for?

  • A detail-oriented Solution Architect who is meticulously organized and able to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be able to understand, communicate, interpret processes and requirements.
  • Over 5 years (or 10+ projects) experience implementing Microsoft 365 solutions such as Exchange Online, Azure AD, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, etc.
  • Have excellent presentation, communication, leadership and client development skills to effectively present information to various levels of management.
  • Be self-motivated with a strong desire to help the team succeed.

Skills and experiences that will help you succeed as a Solution Architect:

  • University degree or relevant post-secondary education.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft/Office 365 and relevant technologies such as Azure AD, Directory Federation, etc.
  • O365/M365 Implementation experience.
  • Advanced knowledge in Windows ServerĀ and Active Directory including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, NTFS.
  • Experience in large and complex corporate or government project environments.
  • Believe in the leadership model and core principle of learning from peers and growing as a team.
  • Ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary team members: customer stakeholders and project managers, IT architects, administration and project team members.
  • General comfort with technology such as networking, security, operating system, DNS, etc.

Extra points if you have:

  • Microsoft 365 certifications including at least one certification in one workload, either Messaging, Security, Teamwork, Desktop (or willing to obtain shortly).
  • Azure Certifications.
  • Windows 10 operating system imaging, deployment and management using MDT/SCCM or Intune.
  • Scripting and automation for systems management, software/OS deployment, and task sequencing.
  • Change Management experience.
  • An understanding of IT internal controls and governance.
