As a member of the sales team, this position will own British Columbia wide territory and build a lead-list/book of business and oversee onboarding new clients through "cold outreach" via emails, calls, presentations, networking, social media platforms, and social selling. Your responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing and expanding business operations toward sustained business growth
  • Monitoring revenue streams and identifying opportunities to increase profitability
  • Generate lead opportunities and provide first point of contact with prospects to qualify opportunities to AM team.
  • Identifying and developing new lines of business leads based on market behavior
  • Focus sales efforts on new client acquisition
  • Performing competitor analysis toward obtaining an increased market share
  • Developing client relationships
  • Identifying new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities
  • Negotiating and closing business deals that promote sustained revenue
  • Liaising with Sales, Marketing, and Management to align strategies aimed at increasing revenue
  • Accurately use and maintain our CRM database

  • Be able to qualify clients' interests and purchasing powers, and develop a meaningful pipeline
  • Be able to self govern and make decisions with limited oversight from management
  • Have a strong ethical compass
  • Possess strong overall knowledge of information technology platforms and solutions
  • Be a strong communicator with ability to coach and mentor other team members
  • Have a proven and accomplished "winning" track record
  • Be proficient in integrated business management and CRM software
  • Exceptional ability to analyze market trends and competitor behaviour
  • Be competent in negotiating and closing business deals

What may set you apart from others?

  • Post-secondary education in business, commerce, marketing and/or organizational theory
  • Proven level of IT credentials or certifications
  • Experience in sales, financial services, investment banking, or management consulting, and delivery
